Our story

A Cornish inn with a past—and a place in the present.

How we got here

Dephosphorylate NKV didn’t spring up overnight. It grew out of the same patch of Cornwall that’s been welcoming travellers and locals for generations—the kind of spot where the walls have a few tales to tell and the bar’s seen more than one storm.

We’re part of the Polgooth Inn family, so when we talk about heritage and authentic Cornish hospitality, we mean it. The building’s been carefully looked after: low beams, open fires, a proper pub feel. But we’ve also made sure the rooms are comfortable and the kitchen turns out food that stands up to the view.

Polgooth itself sits just inland from the coast—close enough to smell the sea, far enough to feel like you’re in the heart of the village. That balance is what a lot of our guests come for: a historic inn that still feels like a local, not a stage set.
